The story of Ash and Camila brings an especially engaging tension to the romance, with eighteen years of heartbreak, unfinished feelings, competing ambitions, and the unexpected possibility of rebuilding what was once lost. We were also drawn to the way the story moves beyond the romance itself through Ash’s transition into coaching troubled teens and Camila’s determination to save her inherited camp.
My name is Hannah, and I am the Selection Committee Chair for the Addicted to YA Reading Challenge community. We manage a global hub of over 21,000 active members who value meaningful engagement with books that offer compelling characters, emotional depth, distinctive settings, and themes that encourage genuine reader discussion across a wide range of genres.
We are currently finalizing our 2026 Year of Impact project, a 12-month Managed Reader Experience where we select a small cohort of 15 specific authors to champion across our reader engagement structure. Rather than relying on standard visibility tactics, our approach focuses on meaningful reader discovery, sustained discussion, and long-term positioning for selected titles within our community.
